Understanding the Workflow Rules

Business process automation is one of the most important aspects of being a Salesforce system administrator. Taking manual processes and creating automation around those processes saves time and leads to better efficiency all around for your organization. The first type of automation tool we will cover from this chapter onward is workflow rules. Workflow rules allow you to create workflow actions based on a triggering event such as a field update.
