Summary
Journal entries are the widest-used entries by small businesses and accounts that service small businesses. Xero has set the standard by using bank feeds to ease the use of journal entries. Manual journals, although used less in Xero, are very powerful and help you become more efficient in using Xero. In this chapter, we talked about the rules that Xero put in place for journal entries. You learned the difference between the manual and repeating journal and how to upload the manual journal.
In the next chapter, we will be looking at fixing any errors or inconsistencies in the transactions we have posted by using Find & Recode, one of the most powerful features of Xero.
