Summary

In this chapter, we saw the new customization enhancements introduced in Dynamics 365. We saw custom grid controls, such as the editable grid control, calendar control, and Timeline control, and a new attribute type in the MultiSelect Option Set. We also saw some scenarios where we can use some of these enhancements to get the desired result in CRM. These new enhancements suggest that there will be more new enhancements and designs coming in the future and that Microsoft Dynamics CRM is only going to improve. These also suggest that Dynamics is slowly moving away from the standard web-form views and moving toward a more app-rich structure that can be easily modified.
