Part 2: Developing for Azure Storage

This part introduces Azure storage solutions for persisting unstructured and semi-structured data. You will learn how to provision, configure, and optimize Azure Cosmos DB and Azure Blob Storage. We will cover the main NoSQL storage solution, Cosmos DB, and introduce different APIs of the database. This part teaches you how to provision, optimize, and scale the Cosmos DB account and how to manipulate and query for documents from SDK. Furthermore, Azure Blob Storage will be introduced as the main storage for binaries and text files. This part will also explain how storage is used to persist data for modern web applications running in Azure. You will learn how to manage blobs and your metadata, optimize costs, and configure the high availability of Azure Blob Storage. Finally, you will also be able to choose appropriate storage solutions based on requirements.
