Appendix D: Boolean Algebra

Boolean algebra is a mathematical structure that has found a major application in electronics. That is because the two values of Boolean algebra, that is, true and false, can describe the best possible way the operation within logical circuit comprised two states, that is, on and off. That has given the Boolean algebra a very important role in designing integrated circuits and computer chips.
