Cloud computing deployment models

Cloud computing is versatile and offers several deployment models tailored to meet different organizations’ specific needs and requirements. These models have pros, cons, and unique security challenges. The chosen deployment model should align with the organization’s business goals and mission requirements. Let us have a look at some of the deployment models that cloud computing has to offer.

Public cloud

A public cloud is a cloud computing model where a cloud service provider provides services and infrastructure off-site over the internet. The public cloud is a multi-tenant environment, meaning that resources such as servers, storage, and network devices are shared among multiple users or ‘‘tenants.’’ While resources are shared, each tenant’s data and applications remain isolated from others to ensure privacy and security.
