Design Resilient Architectures
In this chapter, you will cover the Design Resilient Architectures exam domain. Resiliency in any IT system is crucial to business operations and it is a key area to understand for the exam. This exam domain has two task statements:
- Designing scalable and loosely coupled architectures
- Designing highly available and/or fault-tolerant architectures
These are very broad task statements and cover an awful lot of detail because resiliency is important to consider across the entire AWS platform. You will begin with designing highly available and/or fault-tolerant architectures. By the end of this chapter, you will have an overview of the topics you need to know about to improve in the Design Resilient Architectures domain.
