Summary

Now we are able to write services for our enterprise applications. REST Services are the starting point to write more complex architectures, such as SOA and microservices, not covered in WildFly because it limits its tools to the Java enterprise edition. With this chapter, we end the second part of the book covering the business logic and the main enterprise components. REST is now asynchronous too. This part of REST will be analyzed in the next part of the book about the asynchronous and real time, in the Chapter 10, Asynchronous REST to be precise.
