Chapter 6. Exposing Force.com to the World

We've seen in previous chapters how powerful, and easy to use, Visualforce and Apex are internally on the Salesforce1 Platform. Now it's time to take things one step further, kicking our game up a notch, and leveraging the collective power of the Internet.

This chapter will cover the different ways that Force.com is available outside the internal Force.com environment and revisit our discussion of limits as pertinent to implementing them. We'll also list common mistakes and pitfalls to save you from some frustration as well as from the pros and cons of each method, so that you can make an informed decision. After all, we want you to play safe online, and preferably not talk to strangers – unless they have yummy candy.
