Time to Pursue the Job

In Chapter 5, Closing In on Opportunities, we filtered our job criteria based on the industry, the maturity of the company, and the size of the organization. Now that the pursuit of the role has started, there are still a few factors to consider that affect the chances of landing a cloud solutions architect (CSA) role, such as level of experience and responsibility, compensation expectations, resume quality, and social media presence.

As we have explored in previous chapters, not all CSA roles are the same. Depending on the level of experience and responsibility, a CSA can be classified as junior, senior, or principal. Each level has distinct roles and expectations, as well as different salary ranges and career paths.
