Getting a studio ready to thump

Your studio should be like a good restaurant. A chef will have a favorite knife, good stoves, and a clean, orderly kitchen. A music studio should have a well-configured computer, decent monitors, and good ergonomics (seriously, we'll be sitting here for hours, so let's at least be comfortable, right?) These priorities are important, whether creating 5-star cuisine under the wrathful eye of Gordon Ramsey (Gosh I'm hungry right now), or creating electronic music.

In this chapter, we'll be talking about setting up our music studio so that we get the most out of LMMS from the computer and operating system to our desks and headphones. So let's get started, already!
