Splunk has continued to grow in popularity since our original publication and each new release of the product proves to be enthusiastically consumed by the industry. The content of each chapter within this edition has been reviewed and updated for Splunk version 7.0, with new sections added to cover several new features now available in version 7.0. In addition, we have two new chapters, one covering Splunk's latest machine learning toolkit (MLT) and another discussing practical proven-practice recommendations.
