Lightning Data Service provides the ability to listen to data updates that occur in the UI layer and to react and refresh itself with current data. It has a built-in caching ability, and it takes care of create, read, update, delete (CRUD) / Field Level Security (FLS) (security settings configured by the Salesforce system administrator), based on the user context.
