Designing with Text and Tables

InDesign is a powerhouse when it comes to designing communication pieces that are text and table-rich. It has industry-leading typographic functionality, ranging from time-saving styles to powerful formatting controls. You can easily incorporate source text from applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and many other applications. This chapter focuses on the text and table formatting fundamentals available in the software. Mastering this typographic functionality will put you in a strong position to maximize efficiency in your InDesign workflow.
