Manage user voice settings
In this section, we'll review the possibilities for changing Teams users' voice experiences.
One of the most essential settings for voice solutions is voicemail. For cloud-only solutions, voicemail is automatically set up for users once they're assigned a Phone System user license. Voicemail also includes transcription (voice-to-text) by default.
Users may wish to perform several administrative actions for their voicemail and phone line, which you won't need to do for them as an administrator, but it might be helpful to know about them. These actions are done from the Teams client, and each of these can be found under Settings on the ellipsis (three dots) in the upper-right corner by your profile picture or initials. Individuals are able to modify the following:
- Add and remove delegates (Settings | General | Delegation).
- Change audio device settings (Settings | Devices).
- Make a test call (Settings | Devices | Make...
