Extending canvas solutions using mixed reality
Mixed reality is a technology that allows us to extend beyond device screens and into our living spaces.
This skill can bring solutions to different scenarios, such as the following:
- Measuring hard-to-reach areas or distances while adding this information to a data source
- As a medical equipment representative, being able to show the equipment to the hospital in mixed reality to check for fitting measurements
- Representing furniture in your living room to see if it will fit your style
Canvas apps allow the building of applications for these scenarios using three mixed reality controls: viewing 3D content, seeing shapes with pre-established dimensions, and performing measurements using mixed reality.
