Summary

This chapter was written to give you an overview of the complete Elastic Stack, which contains Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana, and Beats as its components. We started with the overview and then covered how to do setup and configuration of Logstash, Beats, and Kibana. We also tried to explain the components of Kibana as much as the scope of this chapter allowed us.

And now we've reached the end of the book, and we wanted to write a small summary and say a few words to the brave reader who has managed to get to the end. We decided to write Mastering Elasticsearch 5.x, Third Edition, because the previous edition of this book was based on Elasticsearch version 1.4.x and since then so many things have been changed in this technology.
