Summary

This chapter has shown you that using different styles in your cross-platform applications is not that much more involved than using them in VCL applications. Plus, there are a couple of different ways to load and use them in your application. If your needs require unique styling to be applied, then you now have a great start in terms of how to use the Style Designer to make the necessary customizations.

Utilizing styling options in your application can greatly enhance an otherwise standard interface. But there are other ways to help applications stand out from your competition. Some of them may be useful, while others might just be for fun.

In the next chapter, we will explore components that can move and rotate in a three-dimensional space, apply light sources for diffused color effects, and utilize other graphically intensive operations you might have thought were out of your reach.
