Getting ready to take the PSM™ II assessment
The PSM™ II assessment is an assessment offered by Scrum.org to certify an advanced understanding of Scrum. PSM™ II certificate holders have demonstrated that they can apply the Scrum framework, support Scrum Teams, and solve complex problems in the real world. Real-life Scrum experience is much more relevant for the PSM™ II assessment than the PSM™ I.
There are no qualifications or preconditions needed to take the assessment. Having the PSM™ I certification is not a pre-requisite for the PSM™ II assessment; however, it is strongly recommended. You don’t need to take a Scrum.org course to take the assessment (though it would certainly help).
