Managing the Physical Uplinks of a vSphere Standard Switch

Uplink is a vSphere term for a physical network adapter. There can be scenarios wherein there is a need to map additional uplinks to a vSwitch for teaming and load balancing purposes. Such an addition is generally done with the intention of enabling the use of teaming and load balancing features.
