Client partners—IGEL Technology

IGEL Technology is the developer of the leading third-party client for connecting to Azure Virtual Desktop. The IGEL client, known as the AVD Remote Desktop app for IGEL OS, was the first ever Linux-based client built on Microsoft’s Remote Desktop Client SDK.

Because the core of the IGEL client is Microsoft technology, the client is jointly supported by Microsoft and IGEL, which provides users with a high level of comfort.

The IGEL Windows 365 app for IGEL OS is built using the same underlying technology as the IGEL AVD Remote Desktop app, but with additional features unique to a Cloud PC. Because users have a personal relationship with their Cloud PCs, they can reboot, shut down, suspend, restore, and rename their cloud computers. These Cloud PC control features are built into the IGEL Windows 365 app.
