Summary
In this chapter, we explored the most important classes of analytics in IIoT from a theoretical point of view. We looked at the most important use cases, as well as different classes of analytics and the importance of CBM.
We also discussed the relationship of analytics with data in terms of model accuracy and data processing; we also introduced the new concept of AIoT. Finally, we implemented a diagnostic algorithm and a predictive analytic model. We learned that anomaly detection and production prediction are two of the most common IIoT algorithms. Finally, we implemented a prescriptive analytic based on RAG to analyze old events.
In the next chapter, we will focus on the kernel of analytics—the digital twin.
