Chapter 1. Instant Apple Configurator How-to

Welcome to Instant Apple Configurator How-to. This book is a guide on managing iOS devices en masse using the tools Apple provides for us to do so. Apple Configurator can fill a few different roles within your environment. One is as an imaging tool, another is as a tool that locks down devices (similar to how iPhone Configuration Utility was used, previously), and finally there is the ability to distribute content (whereby content is apps and documents within apps, in our opinion).
