Summary
In this chapter, we explored the most common functionalities used to deliver an IoT solution with AWS. We understood the main components and the benefits.
We developed our first IoT system with AWS; we saw some types of edge offered by AWS: Greengrass, the AWS SDK, and SiteWise. We also used a custom device (Node-RED) to show how AWS IoT is universally compatible with MQTT. In the next chapter, we will finalize our exercise by implementing an end-to-end data flow.
We would like to highlight that we are using the same flow proposed in Chapter 7 and sometimes readjusting it by reusing the same technology or changing the components with similar ones.
