Chapter 6: Implementing Business Logic
In this chapter, you will gain the knowledge to be able to implement business logic in the Lightning Platform.
You will learn about the record types feature, which enables various types of business logic to be applied, and how to build custom field types for formula and roll-up summary calculations, which serve to apply field calculations.
With this chapter, you will also understand how data quality can be improved and how record values can be enforced in line with business data quality criteria with the use of validation rules.
At the end of it, you will be presented with a number of questions about the capabilities of and use cases for record types, formula fields, roll-up summary fields, and validation rules in the Lightning Platform.
