Pros of connecting a sales channel to QuickBooks

There are several pros to integrating your e-commerce platform with QBO. Below is a list of pros that I’ve found invaluable when integrating e-commerce apps:

  • Access to complete financial statements: When you integrate your e-commerce platform with QBO, all aspects of your business finances – the money coming in (sales) and the money going out (expenses) – are in one centralized location. This allows you to generate reports such as your profit and loss, balance sheet report, and statement of cash flows that include everything. Without this integration, you will need to generate reports from QBO and from your e-commerce system and then manually enter the numbers into an Excel spreadsheet to combine them.
