Background images in Teams
Using custom background images in video meetings and calls has been available in Microsoft Teams for more than a year. This allows us to participate in video meetings and video calls from anywhere, including while traveling, or from a cluttered room in our house. In this video, we will look at how to change your background in Teams.
The first important thing to know is that changing background images in Teams is possible only from the Microsoft Teams desktop client, iOS, and iPad devices. At the time of writing this book, this option is not available from the Teams web app browser client.
You can either blur your background or replace it totally with whatever image you want in your video meeting or call if you want to change what appears behind you.
For example, before joining a meeting, we can select the preferred devices, turn on the camera, and click on Background filters.
