Keyboard shortcuts review

We've covered a lot of keyboard shortcuts throughout this chapter. Let's do a quick review and make sure they feel natural:

• Tabs:

  a) Ctrl + Shift + T – Opens a new tab

  b) Ctrl + Shift + Space – Opens the new shell drop-down menu

  c) Ctrl + Shift + [1-9] – Opens a new tab with the shell specified by the number (as listed in the new shell drop-down menu)

  d) Ctrl + Shift + D – Duplicates the currently active shell into a new tab

  e) Ctrl + Tab / Ctrl + Shift + Tab – Activates the next/previous tab

  f) Ctrl + Alt + [1-9] – Activates the tab at the index specified by the number

  g) Ctrl + Shift + W – Closes the current tab or pane

• Panes:

  a) Alt + click on the new tab button – Opens a new pane with the default shell

  b) Alt + click on a shell in the new shell drop-down menu – Opens a new pane with the selected shell

  c) Alt + Shift + D – Duplicates the currently active shell into a new pane...
