In this section, you will get acquainted with some of the possible scenarios of problems that may occur on cables and interfaces.

Cable problems

As explained in the Network medium section of Chapter 1, Introduction to Computer Networks, usually there are three type of medium for data transferring: metallic, glass, and air. As the media are different, the problems are also different. Because of that, it is not at all strange if you experience situations when:
