Enabling advanced features
The settings for the advanced features are found in the Intelligence pane of AppSheet, as shown in Figure 9.1. These advanced features and their functionalities are as follows:
- Smart Assistant: Advanced searching function using natural language.
- Predictive Models: Once a new data entry is made, you will be able to get the most likely values for your data that you wish to predict.
- OCR Models (Beta): Extracts text that appears in images and saves it as a standardized dataset.
Take a look at Figure 9.1, where you can find the three different tabs for each advanced feature in the Intelligence pane:

Let’s move on to looking at each of these features; we’ll learn how to set them up and see what each feature can do for us.
