Summary
In this chapter, we briefly touched base on functional, architectural, and operational trends, which can help us respond well to the evolution of CD. The heterogenous growth of tools and applications can be overwhelming, and it is bound to consolidate the overall CDposture to a more standardized one. Tough decisions will be required to coordinate the evolution and maintain the reliability and predictability of the dynamic ecosystem of CD.
In the next chapter, we will address the important topic of community contributors. We will discuss the various basic aspects of open source projects, various organizations that are fostering open source projects, and how you can contribute to the open source ecosystem.
