Objective
The objective of this lab is to investigate a single-segment FRR scenario where TI-LFA provides a backup path through one additional segment encoded as a label in the backup path label stack.
This is accomplished by the tasks outlined here:
- The topology is modified by shutting down the links on router
P7
, as illustrated in Figure 7.1 - Verify whether a single-segment TI-LFA backup path is provided and installed in the Routing Information Base (RIB), Forwarding Information Base (FIB), and Label Forwarding Information Base (LFIB)
After shutting down the necessary links on router P7
, the network topology for the purpose of this chapter would appear as described in Figure 7.1.
