Purchasing and assigning Windows 365 licenses
You need to have at least one Windows 365 available in your tenant before you unlock the Windows 365 management panel in Microsoft Intune. Purchasing and assigning licenses works the same as for other Microsoft 365 products.
You can purchase and assign the licenses from the Microsoft 365 Admin Center:
- You can do this via the Microsoft Admin Center portal at admin.microsoft.com. Under Billing, choose Purchase Services.
- Select the Windows 365 product license you want to purchase, meaning Enterprise, Frontline, or Business.

- Once you have selected the right license size for your Cloud PC, you can go through the Microsoft 365 license purchase flow.
- Once you are all ready, you can use group-based licensing from the Azure portal portal.azure.com.
