Technical requirements

In this chapter, there will be some technical examples with .yaml files and commands. While you don’t need to set up a cluster to follow along, doing so may enhance your understanding. We used the following technologies to develop our samples and explanations:

• kind – the version tested was kind v0.22.0 go1.20.13
• We used this guide to set up a three-worker node cluster: https://kind.sigs.k8s.io/docs/user/quick-start/#configuring-your-kind-cluster
• Docker (a Docker Rootless setup is recommended)
• The kubectl command-line tool
• A GitHub repo
