Importing a sample solution

Let’s start with our actual hands-on work with Test Engine. For that, we are going to use one of the samples provided in the TestEngine GitHub repository (https://github.com/microsoft/PowerApps-TestEngine).

For now, we are going to use the basic gallery sample located in the GitHub repository. You can find the solution to import in the samples folder, and inside there is a ZIP file named basic_gallery.zip that we need to import into our environment in order to follow the steps for the initial basic test.

To import the solution into our environment, we will go to https://make.powerapps.com, and then, from there, access the Solutions section from the left-hand navigation.

Once we are in the Solutions section, we can use the Import solution button to browse and import the ZIP file located in the samples/basicgallery folder. In Figure 7.1, we can check the imports screen in Power Apps Studio.
