Summary

In this chapter, we learned how to create dashboard pages and sub-pages. We took a detailed tour of the Analyzer feature set and used Analyzer to create a few new cards with some cool new beast modes and quick filters. The trend and forecast, period-over-period, burn-up, and waterfall charts are heavily used patterns for many use cases beyond sales reporting. We learned that creating a card often involves iteratively going back to data sculpting and beast mode creation activities to get the data in the right shape for card building. Additionally, we got a feel for using properties to fine-tune the visuals on a card. The result was a sales dashboard. It's pretty amazing how quickly we can create fully functional dashboards using the Domo platform.
