Summary

In this chapter, we assayed a few features of advanced F# usage category. I hope I was able to demonstrate that even for the advanced features, F# continues to keep the promise of "solving complex problems with simple code".

Now is a good time to pay further attention to the subject constituting this book's title. The content so far did not in any way cross the traditional view of design patterns usually associated with the contents of Gang of Four Book (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Design_Patterns). In the next chapter, I will justify the taken approach by observing the "classic" design patterns and principles from a functional-first view point.
