Summary
In this chapter, you spent time learning about the Citrix Provisioning Services and how to implement the Citrix Provisioning Services to have a disk-less environment. You also learnt how it can be used in the XenApp 7.6 infrastructure for the better management of virtual and physical machines, and effective cost management as well when it comes to the cost of the storage.
You learned about the details of the Citrix Provisioning Services architecture, and how to set up Provisioning Service server and configure it, install the Citrix Provisioning Services console, configure the boot from network, configure the Bootstrap for high availability, configure the Master Target Device, create a vDisk, and assign a vDisk to a target device.
In the next chapter, we will test all the components that we implemented so far to make sure that they are working flawlessly and as expected. We will involve some users for the testing purpose, and I am sure you are ready for it!
