Using [email protected] to create a new note using email
You may not use Outlook for all your emails or perhaps you have other email addresses that are not attached to your Microsoft account. No problem – you can also associate your email address with your OneNote account so that you can send or forward any email to your OneNote notebooks.
To connect your email address to your OneNote account, you need to visit a website where you can set up this feature. Follow these steps:
- Go to https://www.onenote.com/emailtoonenote.
- Click the Set up email to OneNote button.
- Sign in to your Microsoft account and click the Next button.
- Choose a location for these emails to go to by choosing the notebook and section where the emails will be saved. There may be a suggestion in the Choose Location drop-down box, as shown in the following screenshot. You can use this location or pick another notebook and section from the drop-down list:
