Verification

If the link between P2 and P3 goes down or router P3 becomes unavailable due to a node failure, the only remaining path for P2 to reach PE5 is through the next hop, P6. This path represents the TI-LFA post-convergence route in the next section.

Verify single-segment backup path

The following RIB output indicates that the backup path now uses TI-LFA (link), signifying the default link protection method, along with an additional label, 16008. This label corresponds to the Node-SID of P8.
