Lab 6 – Single-Segment FRR

Building on the previous lab, this lab explores a scenario where a loop-free backup path cannot be guaranteed without an additional segment encoded as a label in the label stack. However, the Topology Independent Loop-Free Alternate (TI-LFA) post-convergence path checks whether a loop-free alternative route to the destination can be achieved, by using one additional segment or label, hence called the single-segment fast reroute (FRR) scenario.
