Summary
In this chapter, we have explored one of the hottest topics of IIoT – the digital twin. We also studied DL and NN. We also explored what the future of IIoT and AI could be.
Next, we learned about the differences between the physics-based and data-driven approaches, and we applied these to two use cases – wind turbines and engines. Finally, we understood the classes of digital twins and how we can implement them with practical examples.
In the next chapter, we will apply the exercises that we have carried out in the past two chapters to cloud-based technology using Azure and AWS.
