Planning threat policies for Microsoft Teams
To plan threat policies for Microsoft Teams, you need to turn on the Safe Attachments feature for SharePoint, OneDrive, and Microsoft Teams. This can be done by completing the following steps:
- Navigate to the Microsoft 365 Security center at https://security.microsoft.com/threatpolicy and go to Policies | Safe Attachments, as shown in Figure 3.39:

- Click Global settings:

- On the fly-out page, move the slider to the on position for Turn on Defender for Office 365 for SharePoint, OneDrive, and Microsoft Teams, as shown in Figure 3.41:

- Click Save to commit this change.
