Summary

This chapter is the first step toward understanding how to view your SketchUp model. You will most likely spend most of your time in the Perspective view rather than the Two-Point Perspective or Parallel Projection view, but there are some specific instances where different view options are necessary. Becoming familiar with the Camera Tools is essential – especially Orbit, Pan, and Zoom. While Position Camera, Look Around, and Walk may not be used as often as the main Camera Tools, they can also be extremely helpful when setting up views for Scenes.

We talked about setting up views for modeling and exporting in this chapter a lot, and we will continue with those ideas in the next chapter. In the next chapter, we will discuss the View options in SketchUp Pro.
