Section 2: Understanding Edge Analytics Technologies

In order to design new applications with edge analytics, we need to understand the what and how of the IoT ingredients needed. In Section 2, we will discuss the technologies and components used to create an edge analytics application. We will learn about Microsoft Azure IoT Edge, AWS IoT Greengrass, MicroPython, and the OpenCV visual recognition library. We will conclude section two by designing a smart doorbell system using some of the technologies we will have learned about.
