Overview of the Content Moderator service

Filtering content is pervasive in many parts of our lives today. We have filters set up for incoming calls on our smartphones, social media settings for what content we want to see and content we don’t, search results in our favorite browsers, and what we want our children to have access to on their tablets, computers, and phones. This is just a small list of where we see filters, which exist in a much larger sea of areas where we want to ensure we have not delivered content that’s undesired. With the open nature by which the internet was developed, the creators wanted to provide as many opportunities for free speech, such as rhetoric, as possible, and with that unintentionally provide a playground for the malicious and immature.
