To get the most out of this book

You need to have a basic understanding of how electronics and circuit and systems work in alliance with different hardware components along with some programming experience.

The installation instructions are presented in a quite detailed fashion. However, if you need more insight, you can proceed to the relevant instructional manuals available in the support sections of the hardware's documentation.

Conventions used

There are a number of text conventions used throughout this book.

CodeInText: Indicates code words in text, database table names, folder names, filenames, file extensions, pathnames, dummy URLs, user input, and Twitter handles. Here is an example: "The callback function is called when an asynchronous function returns its result, whereas events work with an observer pattern."

A block of code is set as follows:

Any command-line input or output is written as follows:

npm install

Bold: Indicates a new term, an important word, or words that you see onscreen. For example, words in menus or dialog boxes appear in the text like this. Here is an example: "Include the IP address, which your router has provided to your Pi, as the Host Name (IP address) and click on Open, as shown in Figure 3.4."
