Changing the map view and exporting

At this point, you have added all the elements you need to your map and your legend.

You also have:

  • A list of the GEOIDs within your study area of all the census block groups that have a minority percentage that is greater than the reference community
  • A list and data dictionary that will be used to create the text box containing the specific race population percentages within the selected census block group

In this section, you will use all of the above to export to PDF a map for each of the census block groups with a minority percentage greater than the reference community. All the code in this section is going to be written into two cells, and will contain many print statements so you can track the progress of your code. The first cell is the largest, as it contains the code to loop through the block groups, make all the changes to the map, and export it.
