TI-LFA link protection preference
The TI-LFA link protection preference scenario is depicted in Figure 14.2.

As seen here, the topology is strategically designed to not offer all three TI-LFA path protections (link + node + SRLG) simultaneously.
Objective
The objective of this lab is to explore a scenario where the router requests TI-LFA to provide link (default) + node + SRLG protection. However, due to the absence of simultaneous protection and the nature of the topology, TI-LFA defaults to link protection preference. This objective is achieved through the tasks outlined as follows:
- Apply the required configuration to establish the topology, as illustrated in Figure 14.2.
- Verify that TI-LFA backup path protection prioritizes link protection.
