Activating and using course discussions

When you take a face-to-face course, informal interactions naturally occur between participants (learners and instructors). Breaks and lunchtime are particularly prone to these informal discussions. More often than not, discussions that began during the formal training continue during these breaks, and relevant aspects of the subject matter are often discussed or expanded upon over a coffee, a tea, or a sandwich.

The Captivate Prime equivalent of these informal discussions is the Course Discussion Boards. This type of discussion is related to a specific course and is only available to learners enrolled in that course.

To take a closer look at this feature, it is necessary to log in to your Prime account twice: once as an administrator and once as a learner. Follow these steps to do so:
